Featuring over £14,000 worth of modifications from renowned UK-Based VAG tuning house MRC Tuning, including a conversion to stage 3 specification with switchable maps, meaning you can change the power output within seconds, between an astronomical 646PS on 99RON super-unleaded petrol with octane booster to 574PS (high-torque) or 523PS (low-torque) on 99RON super-unleaded petrol, endowing this practical hatch with the ability to complete the 0-60mph dash in under three-seconds. Reliability is key here, all map configurations have a torque cap of around 700NM, which is a safe tried and tested figure for the DAZA Audi 5-Cylinder.
This ballistic shove comes courtesy of a TTE-700 turbocharger complete with supporting modifications of an uprated Forge intercooler, enlarged injectors and a £2,500 Eventuri carbon-fibre induction kit with turbo inlet elbow. This latter upgrade combines with the BCS hi-flow downpipe and RS Sports exhaust system to not only release the maximum power potential of the motor, but also endow it with a suitably steroidal soundtrack to match, which can be heard on our walkaround video. Elsewhere, £1,250 has been invested into 2-piece floating front discs with Ferodo Racing Pads to significantly increase stopping power.
