Spencer Abell

Packed with over £67,000 worth of professionally installed modifications, ABT upgrades and full-body paint protection film, this limited edition Audi TTRS for sale is the ultimate evolution of Audi’s seminal sports car.

This Audi TT RS has long stood as a benchmark among compact sports cars. Its instantly recognisable two-seat silhouette and the characterful 2.5-litre, five-cylinder turbocharged engine delivering 400PS straight from the factory cemented its reputation as one of the most thrilling performance coupés and this Audi TTRS For Sale.

But for those who believe that factory performance is only the starting point, ABT Sportsline has rewritten the rulebook. Their most extreme interpretation of Audi’s iconic coupé—the ABT TT RS-R—pushes the envelope of performance, design, and exclusivity to create what can only be described as a genuine supercar slayer.

As one of the UK’s foremost Audi RS specialists, as well being expert moderators on the Audi RS Owners Club forum, the Audi RS3 8Y page and Audi RS6GT owners club page, we know just how special the TTRS-R is, and with our industry-defining preparation and customer service experience, as well as the addition of a selection of bespoke upgrades installed-house, we are confident that this is Audi TTRS For Sale will delight even the most ardent RS connoisseur.

From TT RS to TT RS-R: The ABT Transformation

Even in stock form, the TT RS is a fast and capable car. But ABT Sportsline, Germany’s most respected Audi and VW tuning house, wasn’t content with “fast enough.” The TT RS-R is limited to just 50 cars worldwide, each built at a cost of £128,000 when new in 2017. And it remains the most powerful factory-sanctioned TT model ever created.

The original ABT-spec TT RS-R featured over £30,000 of ABT upgrades as standard and produced 500PS and 570Nm thanks to recalibrated ECU mapping and ABT’s proprietary hardware upgrades. But this specific example, offered by Automotive Addiction, has been taken even further. For starters, it adds a further £11,845 in ABT TT RS-R optional equipment to that impressive spec list. Items like the £5000 adjustable carbon-fibre rear wing; the £2,790 carbon-fibre seat shells and a £1,790 carbon-fibre and leather steering wheel to name just a few.

But even this stellar spec was just the tip of the iceberg for the previous owner, as it has now been equipped with over £25,000 worth of carefully engineered aftermarket modifications that have raised the power output to a tarmac searing 591PS and 738Nm of torque.

Extracting the extra horses is an MRC Tuning Stage 3 calibration for both the engine and gearbox, along with supporting upgrades such as a forged engine build with Mahle pistons and conrods, a TTE-700 Evo EA855 hybrid turbocharger, an APR carbon-fibre intake system, Forge Motorsport intercooler and turbo elbow.

That’s nearly 200PS more than the factory TT RS and puts this compact coupé in the performance company of bona fide supercars.

Aggressive Styling, Motorsport Pedigree

Visually, the ABT TT RS-R makes its intentions clear before you even start the engine. The car wears an extensive carbon-fibre aero package, including:

  • Redesigned front spoiler and grille frame with red TT RS-R insignia
  • Sculpted front flics and canards
  • Extended side skirts for increased stance and airflow control
  • A distinctive multi-part rear diffuser with RS-R badging

These enhancements aren’t just cosmetic—they optimise aerodynamics, reducing drag while improving stability at speed.

At the rear, a stainless-steel quad-exit exhaust system ensures the sound matches the looks, producing the unmistakable warble and bark that only a five-cylinder turbo can provide.

Completing the aggressive stance are 20-inch ABT SPORT alloy wheels finished in satin black. Lightweight yet strong, they not only sharpen aesthetics but also reduce unsprung mass for improved driving dynamics.

Exclusive Motorsport-Inspired Interior

Step inside and ABT’s Individual division ensures the cabin feels just as special as the bodywork. Carbon-coated seat panels and dashboard trim add motorsport texture and exclusivity, emphasising the limited-edition nature of the TT RS-R.

This is a cockpit designed not just for speed, but to remind you every mile that you’re sitting in one of only 50 cars in existence.

Handling That Matches the Power

Performance upgrades are not confined to the engine. To ensure the TT RS-R handles as precisely as it accelerates, ABT equipped the chassis with:

  • Sports suspension lowering springs
  • Rear anti-roll bar

These upgrades deliver sharper steering response, flatter cornering and improved stability under load.

This particular example goes further still, with Automotive Addiction’s in-house technical team adding a VBT rear brake upgrade, ARP propshaft bolts, and a Forge dogbone mount insert—all working together to ensure that the car can exploit its monumental power safely and consistently. On top of this, a set of bespoke ABT floor mats and decals were made and fitted, taking this already exclusive machine to even greater heights.

Protected and Preserved

This ABT TT RS-R’s striking paintwork and carbon aero are comprehensively protected by £5,000 worth of XPEL self-healing Paint Protection Film (PPF) to the body panels and headlights, while the roof has been treated to STEK carbon-effect PPF. This ensures the finish remains flawless, safeguarding its future value as a collector-grade car.
