Presented in an exquisite coat of Carrera White paint, the broader-shouldered ‘Turbo’ bodywork gives the 4S GTS a much more curvaceous, purposeful, and imposing look on the road when compared to its narrow-bodied siblings. But it’s not just for aesthetics, as the swollen arches conceal a wider rear axle complete with a mechanically-locking differential that, when united with the lightweight 19in RS Spyder forged centre-lock alloy wheels, elevates the 997’s already astonishing levels of grip to an even higher plane.

This improved traction dovetails perfectly with the GTS’s amplified engine output, which by virtue of the factory-fitted Carrera Powerkit, has raised the power of the naturally-aspirated 3.8-litre, flat-six motor to 408bhp. Combined with both a higher rev limit and much broader torque spread, this provides increased urgency and responsiveness throughout the rev range and devastating acceleration in all ratios. A large part of this elevated performance comes from the car’s variable resonance intake system, which features six plus one switchable valves that adjust between power and torque-optimised geometries to allow maximum power with no increase in fuel consumption. The aural histrionics of the sports exhaust system with switchable exhaust flaps only heightens the orchestral experience in a way that only the most accomplished naturally-aspirated power units can deliver.

The perfect accompaniment to the visceral engine is the seven-speed PDK gearbox, which shifts with rifle-bolt speed and, combined with the electronically-controlled active suspension, means the GTS is just as home either getting your blood pumping whilst scything down your favourite B-road, or soothing your senses while crossing continents as a luxurious grand tourer.

Open the driver’s door and the GTS’s pristine interior complements the car’s split personality too, coming drenched in sumptuous leather and Alcantara. The tactile motorsport-inspired surface coats the car’s core touchpoints and roof lining, reinforcing its sporting credentials and adding an extra level of lateral support to the deeply bolstered sports seats, an attribute that comes in handy when using the Sport Chrono Package Plus, which features both launch control functionality and a dash-mounted analogue stopwatch.

  • No Rust, Dents, Scratches or Abrasions present on ANY Panels.
  • Areas that are prone to Stone Chips are in exceptional condition such as; Front End, Rear Arches & Sideskirts. We are struggling to find fault; with the exception of ONE (YES ONE) miniscule stone chip to the lower part of the front bumper which has been professionally touched up (which is hardly worth mentioning, however we wanted to highlight something)
