They say you should never judge a book by its cover, well, here at Automotive Addiction, we reckon you should never judge a car by its age or number of previous owners. This simply stunning 2015 Audi RS3 being a perfect case in point. It may be seven years old, but having covered just 42,800 miles and with perfectly preserved paintwork, it presents as well, if not better, than a car that’s just rolled off the forecourt.
This exceptional condition can be attributed to a perfect storm of factors that have seen this exquisite Mythos Black RS3 remain untouched by the hands of time and usage.
For starters, its exterior is covered in £5,000 worth of self-healing XPEL paint protection film, which has been expertly applied to all body panels and has protected the deep jewel-like finish from even the most minor of stone chips or abrasions.
This level of fastidious care runs through to the calibre of its previous owners too. Having originally supplied the car in 2017 to its second owner, we have since bought back and sold the car to the each of the next four owners, which are all die hard Audi RS enthusiasts – the last owner being the most pedantic of the bunch, only ever using the vehicle in the dry!
This is testament to the extremely high quality of service history and the unrivalled care and maintenance that has gone into this car over the last seven years and makes it, what we believe, the very best pre-facelift 8V RS3 matching this mileage available anywhere in the country.
Early 8V model RS3s, such as this, are not only highly prized for their muscular looks, but for their unburstable iron-block 2.5-litre turbocharged engine, which RS fanatics crave for its incredible and iconic five-cylinder soundtrack (which you can hear in our walkaround video)
And this particular example has the latter attribute turned up to 11, as it features an additional £12,500 of professionally installed modifications. A REVO Stage 2 upgrade with the supporting hardware of a Wagner intercooler, HG Motorsports intake and Milltek secondary bypass pipes, offers an increased power output of 430PS and an even more aggressive tone to the RS sports exhaust. And this extra shove has been tamed by the fitment of revised front and rear discs, which not only improve braking performance, but also eliminate any chance of squeal or warping that can be found on standard pre-facelift items.
These come on top of almost £10,000 of desirable factory options such as the Aluminium exterior pack, Dynamic pack and Tech pack, which add stand-out features such as red calipers, magnetic ride, a 7in infotainment screen and a high-fidelity Bang & Olufsen audio system respectively.
As usual, even this gloriously kept example has been treated to our in-house 40-hour preparation process that is applied to all vehicles offered by Automotive Addiction, including meticulous ‘light’ machine PPF correction in our bespoke detailing studio to ensure an unrivalled level of finish.
